UNIROYAL WORLDS LARGEST TIRE photo picture art print for sale. This WORLDS LARGEST GIANT TIRE photo picture print for sale is made from an original black and white photograph that has been hand-colored by artist/photographer Jan Kaulins. The UNIROYAL WORLDS BIGGEST TIRE was originally constructed as a giant Ferris wheel for the 1965 World's Fair in New York City. After the Fair ended, the WORLDS LARGEST TIRE was taken apart and transported to the Metropolitan Detroit area where (minus Ferris wheel) it was redesigned to be a giant Welcome to Detroit symbol on Interstate I-94. The nail shown in the tire was removed several years ago and was also billed as the WORLDS LARGEST NAIL and exhibited at major sporting events and other events around the Metro Detroit area.

The quality of the Jan Kaulins' photographic prints is much higher than we can show within limits of this web site. Slight tonal changes and blurring around the areas of strong contrast are a result of the JPEG compression process, and are not part of the high quality originals.
